Sublimation Explained

If you’ve ever wanted a design to feel like it belongs – not just as something that's stuck on, but that becomes part of the product – sublimation is your printing soulmate. This method doesn’t sit on the surface of a blank… it quite literally fuses with it.

[ Step 1 ]

Design Prep.

Your artwork is printed in reverse onto a specialised sublimation transfer sheet using dye-based inks. These aren’t your average inks – this setup is built for rich colour depth, razor-sharp detail, and photo-level clarity.

[ Step 2 ]

Ink fusion.

Using heat and pressure, the ink transforms into gas that bonds with the surface on a molecular level (yes, molecular – fancy huh?). The result? Vibrant, permanent prints with zero cracking, peeling, or fading. Ever.

[ Step 3 ]

Cool down.

As the item cools, the gas settles and solidifies within the fibres of your product, creating a super-smooth, touchable finish that won’t flake or fade over time.

[ Step 4 ]

Finish Check.

Before it heads out the door, we inspect each piece for colour vibrancy, placement accuracy, and print clarity. If it’s anything less than flawless, it’s not going anywhere.

Need a seamless show-stopper that's simply... Sublime?

This is what we use for edge-to-edge tees, cool drinkware, and merch that looks like it walked straight out of a boutique showroom. Doesn't matter whether you’re printing one piece or one thousand, sublimation is made for bold prints, buttery-soft finishes, and designs that live and breathe with your product. Literally.
